About Roots & Leaves

Roots & Leaves started in 2021 as a little food truck parked in the heart of Buxton, North Carolina — serving Aussie-style oat milk coffee, handmade vegan donuts and bagels to locals and visitors on Hatteras Island.

Coffee, donuts, good times

Everything we serve is 100% plant-based. Our espresso bar pours flat whites, lattes and cold brew, and our bakery turns out fresh vegan donuts every morning. We're open Monday through Friday, 7a–Noon, across from Conner's Supermarket at 47437 NC 12.

The apparel shop

So many people asked for a shirt that we made some. Our tees, hoodies and hats carry the Roots & Leaves garden logo and the same coffee-donuts-good-times spirit as the truck. Everything ships from our Shopify store, and every order helps keep the truck rolling.
